Testing methods for coronavirus (COVID-19 infection).

If you have any of these 3 covid-19 symptoms, even if mild, use this covid test service to get a polymerase chain reaction ( PCR ) test as soon as possible:

  • You`ve lost your sense of smell or taste or they`ve changed. You can order a PCR test kit to be sent to your home or book an appointment at a walk-in to our London test sites.

  • If you have symptoms, self-isolate straight away until you get your results. Do not leave home except by mailing a test kit or making an appointment for a PCR test.

Find out if the people you live in need to be self-quarantined at NHS.UK. Do not use our service if your PCR test is positive in the last 90 days, except in the following cases:

If you have been in contact with someone who is suspected of being infected with the Omicron variant or who has been confirmed to be infected. If you have no symptoms, have a PCR test.

People who live with people with symptoms need to be tested. If you are asymptomatic and are not eligible for the PCR test, you can order a quick immunochromatographic test at home. Testing may be required if you are trying to perform an operation or procedure.

You cannot book a travel test using this service. Book a visit to the test site to take the test today. The test site is open 7 days a week.

The test involves taking a swab of the inside of your nose and the back of your throat, using a long cotton bud. You can do a covid test yourself (if you are over 12 years old) or someone can do it for you. Parents or guardians should wipe children under the age of 11 with a cotton swab. If you are applying for someone over the age of 13, take a test to make sure you are satisfied.

You can always check our other types of Covid19 testing options and contact us if you need any assistance.
